Kernow Fest

July 17th 2010

All entries will close 2 weeks prior to the event

Start List

Race pack

Kernow Man (3/4 Distance) 0600 start

(£100/105/150)

Kernow Man will be based at Marazion in Cornwall. It is a demanding yet ideal introduction to a longer distance event.

Race Distances:

Swim: A 2.8K open water sea swim which will circle the beautiful St Michaels Mount with sea conditions permitting.  Sometimes its flat and sometimes its not so flat! However, the swim is adjusted to suit the weather conditions on the day. Surf safety cover is also provided.

Bike: The bike is an undulating (Cornish for hilly) 150k course and very fast in places with a few hills thrown in for those who love them.  You will visit Land's End, St.Just and the coastal road to St.Ives before taking in 2 laps of the Cormelian course

Tri specific bikes would be suitable with frequent use of the aerobars.

Run: The run is a 30k 3 lap course with varied terrain with nearly half on bridleways.
